Bumthang airport

Our time in Bumthang was done and we needed to be back in Paro.   It is either a 12 hour drive or a 35 minute flight from Bumthang to Paro - choice made easily!

Paro is where the main airport out of the country is located and also our last stop of the trip - Tiger's Nest Monastery!!!

The little tiny airport in Bumthang was amazing...  Just a fenced off runway (to keep the dogs and livestock from getting in), a small tower / terminal building, and a fire truck.  We got there and checked in (handwritten tickets) early, and had to wait for our plane to arrive.
