Archery is the national sport of Bhutan.
One afternoon after rafting the Mangedu Chu, our guide, Tshe tshe, arranged for some of the local men to set up an archery range for us in the afternoon. We walked down to a kinda flat field, and they put the targets into a range us "chilips" (Bhutanese word for foreigners/whiteys) might be able to hit. We really spent more time looking for arrows lost in the bush surrounding the targets, than actually hitting the targets.
Final stats: Rich had one hit in the target, 2 arrows lost, 1 broken
