Namgay, our caterer, was quite entertaining after his whiskey intake started flowing... He busted out a Bhutanese rendition of a Ice Ice Baby, and has us all rolling in the sand.
my facebook-less status remains - but I wanted to share pictures of my travels with everyone, because usually words do not do justice..

Bonfire dinner on the Puna Tsa Chu River
So the guy who "catered" our take out lunch after rafting the Mo Chu suggested to our guide that we come down to the river outside the Punakha Dzong for a riverside bonfire dinner. It was amazing. We had a huge bonfire. A bar setup. Candles surrounding us in the sand. And tons of delicious food. And the river at our backs with the Punakha Dzong lit up behind us!!!!
